Wood and Iron | Game Day Restaurant and Bar

I've been to Wood and Iron quite a few times and have never been disappointed. I went by there this evening and had another wonderful experience. I ordered the Cajun burger with Cajun fries and the jalapeño poppers. Everything was cooked perfect and tasted absolutely delicious. My waitress did an amazing job and the manager came around and spoke to me. He was very friendly. I highly recommend this place for awesome food and great service.

This place was so yummy! HIGHLY recommend coming here 🤩! I ordered the Mac n cheese , boneless tacos , cherry limeade and cheesesteak egg rolls. I had never tried Wood and Iron before but my brother recommended it . I tell you , it DID NOT DISAPPOINT😋! The food came out nice and hot ( a plus!) I could taste the cheese and tender steak in the egg rolls and dipping it in the warm queso cheese really completed this entree . This was well seasoned as well as the mac n cheese . The tacos were delicious as well ! I really enjoyed my limeade ! My friend loved her wings . The owner heard it was my friend and I first time and came out and greeted/chatted with us . She was SUPER NICE as well as our waitress . Waitress service was perfect . Fast on refills 💖You just need to come here ! 😎

First time visit. Sucked.. Walked in hopeful. Was sat in a booth. The seat kept rocking back and forth. Waitress came and I mentioned it. Was told it's been broken for years. Guess that was that. Husband went to bathroom. Waitress asked for drinks and food. I said we haven't gotten menus. She then flicked a qr scan thing on the table and left without a word. So so rude. I was livid. I obviously didn't know that's what was happening. Not all the table was sat down yet and already I'm pissed. What if I didn't know how to use it? Awful Husband comes back, it's his bday also, only reason I was willing to stay. I'm not a fan of bad service. Was asked again if ready to order food. I said no. She's back again and we order. 20 mins later entrees arrive. No appetizer. The very item we were asked about before he was even back from the bathroom. So I asked about it. She didn't know. We said to cancel it...bc entrees are here. She came back and said canceled. I didn't thank her 😐😐 I was all done now. I don't like to spend 120.00 for 4 people and leave mad. But here we are. On the walk up to the patio it was packed, which was an indication that my first experience would be great. My girlfriend had been to the other location in Scott's Addition and she had nothing but good things to say. We ordered some beverages called 'painkillers' that were awfully sneaky; hence, I felt no pain. We ordered the pizza bites and cheese steak rolls and they were both good. We enjoyed the numerous televisions and considered returning for future sporting events. The servers were very friendly and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and recommended good choices. It was a great experience and I look forward to a future return.

The service was great and there are a lot of options available on the menu. A great beer selection and multiple TVs both inside and out to enjoy the games on. The smoked and grilled fiery BBQ wings were on point and I will be back to try their fire wings that required a waiver. I tried the cuban sandwich and cajun fries, both which were good, but the sandwich was a touch salty for me despite the meat being super tender. Hush puppies and the pretzel app were really tasty too. I would definitely visit again.
